View a group
To view a group, navigate to the Groups page and click the group in the tree. The page has three panes:- Tree: Navigate your groups like a file directory
- Devices: View, filter, and organize the selected group’s devices
- Details: The group’s properties and members
View devices in a group
The middle pane lists the devices assigned to the group. Devices in its subgroups aren’t included; open a subgroup to see them. The list works like the one on the Devices page: you can search, filter, and save views and use bulk actions. Views saved here appear only in this group. To create a device in the group, click + Device in the top right.Create a group
Admins can create a top-level group by clicking the plus (+) at the top of the tree. To create a subgroup, hover over the parent group and click its plus (+).
Rename a group
To rename a group, click the ellipses (…) on the group in the tree, or right-click it, and hit Rename.
Move a group
To move a group, click the ellipses (…) on the group in the tree, or right-click it, and hit Move. Its subgroups and devices move with it.
Delete a group
A group can only be deleted if it has no subgroups and no assigned devices. If you need to delete a group that still contains devices or subgroups, first move or reassign its contents. Deleting a group also removes its members’ roles on it and the device views saved on it. To delete a group, click the ellipses (…) on the group in the tree, or right-click it, and hit Delete.
